In regards to Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo. My scalp has not seen the light of day in several years, with many layers of white flaky skin covering a stressed out round mass that sits on my shoulders. But FINALLY, after tons of different plastic bottles all shapes and sizes, hours of personal hygiene theories, and hundreds of dollars later... I can see a pink scalp....YES, that's right! After only 2 weeks use of this product with Captan & Collagen in it, my scalp is now light pink without billions of white particles running down the hair shaft. I can actually scratch my head with out wondering what snow storm I just brought on! Do you have a CLUE as to how that feels???? Have you really done your research? Can you really rationalize using shampoos you have found on the grocery or drug store shelf knowing full well that you can use them to de-wax and strip your floors at home and use them for scraping the tar off your car That's what I'm saying. I can finally wear sexy black and its real nice not having a friend wipe my shoulders off for me. Please do not make a hasty decision, I love this product and it works for me!

Myself as well as my entire family have been believers of Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo for over 8 years! When I say the entire family I mean that literally. I myself am a female with very long hair and love the manageability I get from the shampoo during times of dandruff issues. My husband has extremely dry skin and scalp and feels as though the active ingredients work well for him. Our two boys are now 16 and 17 and have periodically used the shampoo thinking that it was much better smelling than the head and shoulders and denorex that they have used in the past.

My most remarkable story may seem funny to you but important to my family none the less. We have had a pot bellied pig rescue for the past 6 years but our very first pig that we got 8 years ago Gladys had very dry and irritable skin when she was a baby. She was very resistant to baths but obviously needed and got a lot of them! We would lather her up with Dare To WEAR BLACK^TM with Captan & Collagen and let it set for a while and then rinse it off. When I brought her to the breeder, she told me to wash her with anything but to put mineral oil on her each time and it would keep her skin well moisturized and healthy. I later read in a magazine that mineral oil on her skin in the sun could cause cancer and it didn't work anyway.

So until we moved out to the country where we live presently she was an Autograf Dare to wear Black Pig! Now with you on-line, she can be again! Obviously since we had concerns about the effects to her health with the mineral oil which is why we stopped using that, we would have never dreamed of washing her, our children's or our own hair with anything that had harmful chemicals in it!

Please take a minute to think about this testimony and possibly even try this awesome shampoo and compare it to others that you and your family have tried as well. I am almost certain you will agree with our family!

For the last year my scalp has developed some large dry spots and has become very itchy. Never having this problem before, I asked my stylist and all she could recommend was TeaTree. After using this for three weeks and seeing no improvement I was beginning to think I would never have a normal head again or even ware my blacks or blues. That was until three months ago.

I have used Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo for several years now to control terrible scalp and facial lesions. These occur everywhere on the scalp, forehead and eyebrow/nose area. I have used many other products to control these lesions, which sometimes are as large as 1.5 cm sq., crusty and yellow. No product has worked as completely as Autograf's. Using it on a regular basis completely cleared up the lesions.

Recently I had to do without the product for a month. The lesions came back. Imagine what it is like to look in the mirror and see these large flakes, impaled and held by hair strands, working their way to the surface of my hair and brows. When I scratch my head, a fall of flakes covers every surface. With Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo, an extremely aptly named product, I can function without fear of embarrassment.

I'm writing this email in support of AUTOGRAF shampoo. My husband and I have both appreciated the results of Autograf for over five years. We both struggled with dry skin and itchy scalp, not to mention the embarrassment of the flakes that prevailed soon after shampooing. My husband tried the product first and was so excited to not have compounding problems with his scalp. I tried it and was excited at the results. I have almost black hair and couldn't find a product to resolve dry scalp and flaking. I tried everything from Head & Shoulders to prescription products. We both have been pleased with the effects it has on our hair, too.

At age 2, our daughter had severe eczema. Hydrocortisone treatments were damaging her skin but treated the eczema. I used Autograf on her hair and noticed that her arms looked a little better. She said she didn't itch immediately out of the bath. We continue to use the shampoo on her even though her skin is healed!

As I mentioned, by using AUTOGRAF on our daughter for five years we have been able to discontinue using hydrocortisone creams and products, which have long-term damaging affects. The results of AUTOGRAF have only been. This is a great product.

My daughter has had a scalp condition for as long as I can remember. The combination of oily hair and flaky, crusty scalp had her itchy all the time. With her dark hair, she had large white flakes all the time. At one point the accumulation of oil caused a birthmark to raise and get infected and it had to be surgically repaired. We have tried every kind of shampoo available - Head and Shoulders, Neutrogena, Selsun Blue, Specialty shop shampoos from Origins, and even a shampoo by prescription only from the doctor. I must say, that as a Licensed Cosmetologist and Barber in the state of Washington for 37 years and Salon Owner since 1973, I have found NO product which works as well in the control of Flaking and Itch. I have been a hairdresser for 27 years. I have used and recommended Autograf Dandruff Shampoo for 25 of those years. I started having very serious scalp problems in 1990. My doctor suggested "Head and Shoulders." Head and Shoulders gave me NO relief. The doctor then recommended "coal tar" or "sulfur" based shampoo. My name is G. Thomas Cunningham. I have been diagnosed with psoriasis a good 15 years ago. I work as a paralegal in a Seattle law firm. Stress exacerbates my skin conditions, as does the lack of sunshine in winter in the Northwest. Psoriasis affects my scalp, as well as other parts of my body. I have attempted to control the exfoliation that occurs from my scalp in the form of large flakes of dandruff. I have found nothing that does as good a job of arresting this exfoliation AND leaves my hair without a dry and brittle feeling, as the product Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo I believe my hair even looks fuller than it did prior to using this product, as well -- it certainly feels better to the touch.

I was using Head and Shoulders at the time I was provided Autograf, "Dare to Wear Black Shampoo," in October 6, 1999. There is now a distinct difference in the quality of my scalp: It is not as "dry" as Head and Shoulders left it. Nor does it flake as bad as it once did. At one point, I could not wear solid colors without having fallout show up on my shoulders. I have also tried Selsun Blue, and Coal tar shampoos which left an odor on my hair and scalp. I did not find these coal tar based shampoos effective. I have also used Aveda products in the hopes that a more organically based shampoo might be easier on my scalp. Aveda products did NOT arrest the exfoliation that I have experienced. Although I have been using Autograf, "Dare to Wear Black Shampoo" only since October 6, 1999, I have noticed a marked positive change in my scalp condition.

While I have only been using Autograf's Dare To WEAR BLACK Scalp Specific Shampoo with Captan for less than one month, I have noticed a significant improvement with my scalp and my hair. I used to use Head and Shoulders but it didn't ease my dandruff problems, regardless of how often I would use it (which was daily). With the use of the shampoo with Captan & Collagen, I noticed results within a week and have had almost no dandruff since using this shampoo and I have only had to use it approximately 2-3 times a week. Without this shampoo, I would still have a bad dandruff problem and now I do not have to worry about unsightly flakes on my clothes. I'm not afraid to wear black and am more confident with my flake-less hair.

I have been using the Autograf's Dare To Wear Black^TM Scalp Specific Shampoo, produced by Autograf and Dawn Renée Mallory for about a year. This is the only shampoo that has ever controlled by flaky, itchy scalp. Since I was about 10 (I am now 38), my head would immediately have flakes after washing, and would itch like mad. I have tried Tegrin, Selsun Blue, Denorex, Pantene Dandruff Shampoo, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo, Neutrogena T-Sal and T-Gel, and none of these shampoos work as well as the Dare to Wear Black shampoo. My hair does not have to be washed as often, my scalp does not flake as easily or as often, and my head does not itch constantly. I have been so excited to find relief to an itchy, flaky scalp!
