You can e-mail us at dawn@autograf.com Here are some tips for making the best use of the Autograf Specialty Haircare Products.Autograf is a mini line: 2 shampoos, 3 conditioners, & a leave-in spray to protect your hair against damages from styling toys. We also have products to add to perms or colors to make them SO REAL! These products perform their best when left on for 5-7 minutes … each. That means the shampoo as well as the conditioners. You may use them as often as you wish in a variety of combinations. The 4-Silk and 4-Body can be mixed together or applied to separate areas of the head or hair strand. For example, you may want 4-Body on the roots and 4-Silk on the ends. In the case of long curly hair, one might mix them up and apply all over to help support the curl and detangle as well. In order to maximize the products' potential, REALLY towel dry (wring or squeeze, do not rub) your hair before conditioning. Make sense? The water is already inside of the hair shaft. The more water left in the hair, the less effective the conditioners will be … the conditioner will be the last thing on your hair and the first thing down the drain! The more water you remove prior to applying the conditioners, the happier your hair will be. The 4-Body will give you lots of oomph and you'll definitely appreciate the 4-Silk to detangle and silkify. It is also important to towel dry (wringing, of course) your hair after conditioning, then apply Line Design Controller a minute or few prior to combing it out to style. The more you spray on, the better the style hold. It's very concentrated, so 6-10 sprays should be enough to start with. Besides styling assistance, this product protects the hair from potential damage due to blow drying, styling toys or products. Depending upon what products you had in your hair prior to beginning to use Autograf, you may go through a transition period where your hair is weird, or seems drier, or some such hassle. Some "Chemical Incompatibility" exists between some lines, no matter how expensive or not, they were (or weren't) If this is the case, please advise me and I will tell you how to create a "booster shot" for your hair. This is the prescription part of the system, so I really need to chat with you (or type with you) to best determine your special process.
